For the observant, thinking woman- she notices more than the sharp-dressed man. A fellow that gives detail to his appearance is dapper; however the young man that feeds his hunger and curiosity with ever increasing knowledge IS sharp. Fellows like these are the pharaohs in our presence now. The boys that made good grades, were nice to the girls, and kept whatever rags on his back neat as possible were kings in the making. More specifically with me, the boys who were skinny nerds and wallflowers are now very well-muscled professionals in medicine, law enforcement, martial arts, business, higher education, and religion/philosophy!!! We all can name the ones back from high school and college that were always keeping their noses to the grindstone, retaining a course for self-defined success! Don't believe me?!?! Just trace the tracks of men like Roland Martin, Earl Graves, Sr., Harold Ford Sr AND Jr, Tony Brown, Quincy Jones, Barack Obama, and my local friends- Dr. Clyde M. Brown, Dr. Eldrin Foster Lewis, Prof. Ernest Brothers, & Pastor Ted Rollins. If you still can not become mesmerized by the discipline, determination and focus of these gentlemen's intellect and vision- then may be you should stick with the pathetic facade of the thugniggaintellectual.
These pretend, pseudo-polished images perpetrated by performers such as T.I. are truly laughable!! I mean really, who are you trying to fool by getting a proper haircut, wearing a pressed shirt & trousers, and throwing on the horned-rim spectacles?!?!?!?!?!??? KEEP YOUR DAMN "SUGAR-PILL". I do understand why females have always had the allured interest for the thugniggaintellectual- CONFIDENCE. Any woman would be attracted to someone that exudes confidence even if the confidence is conditional, pretentious, and/or short-lived. For the young adults (and the young-in-the-brain) of present day millennia, presence of "swagger" and solidifying "soldier" status holds key to certain folks' definition of reality. This polishing of a street-credible persona only deludes those that take face value more important or too long to peel back the layers of man's true character.
