For My Daughter...

When YOU become 13:
1.  Plan ways, as big and lofty as you dare to dream, on making your best characteristics into a very prosperous entrepreneurial career!

2.  Invite representatives from women's colleges to host an open house at your school, from this birthday forward.

3.  Pick a day in March and ask other girls in your community (school, church, social club, etc.) to write and share why being a girl is "super great" in 50 words or less.

I know you are only 3 yrs now, but since it was on my heart I had just thought I should let you know anyway.  - Love, Mama

(test post) On and On ...

Here I am at 40 yrs old. A mother, wife. Yearning to get my woman-activism wheels back running again. It took quite some time getting here- to the place I can forever root myself and flourish out long my stems to show the world (as I know it) my blooms! Throughout my budding young adult life, I did not do enough on first instinct as I should have. Instead I would hope for things to work out, for my sake. That didn't always occur; others took credit for my work, I took blame for things I didn't do or initiate, etc.
But now, I've learned my limits and my calling. There may be more yeas and nays, yet I will go on.
